Hello, I’m Michelle McLachlin, the creator behind Simply Canadian Box and Book Box Canada. This new venture is so close to my heart, and I’m thrilled to share this new adventure.

My entrepreneurial story started with a small publishing house called Eerie River Publishing in late 2019 and Book Box Canada, in late 2022, where I combined my love of reading with my passion for curating unique and memorable experiences. It’s been a joy to bring books and thoughtful extras to readers across the country. But over time, I realized there was an opportunity to do something even more meaningful—something that celebrates Canada and supports our incredible local businesses. That’s how Simply Canadian Box was born.

For me, Simply Canadian Box is more than just a gift box—it’s a way to showcase the incredible creativity and quality that Canadian artisans and entrepreneurs have to offer. Each quarterly box is filled with handpicked treasures, from self-care items to home décor, delicious treats, and more.
